[00:00:00] Speaker A: Sa.
[00:00:29] Speaker B: Girl kb and it's Bracey.
[00:00:31] Speaker A: And welcome back to another episode of Girl. Don't Whisper whisper.
[00:00:37] Speaker B: How you feeling today?
[00:00:44] Speaker A: I'm feeling pretty good today though. I had me a good day.
I wouldn't get me a tire today. Epic fail. But I'm going go tomorrow, try some different places.
But I had a good do about you.
I feel good today. Went to work. How was work?
No snitching?
No. No snitching.
[00:01:06] Speaker B: No snitching.
[00:01:07] Speaker A: No snitching.
[00:01:08] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:01:09] Speaker A: So
[00:01:13] Speaker B: what's one thing that happened this week that made you say why are we acting like this?
[00:01:20] Speaker A: We normalize a lot of things but you know that monoleon stunner thing don't mind nobody else relationship.
We are they talking trash and they. They posted, taking pictures together and stuff.
[00:01:36] Speaker B: I got one worse than that.
[00:01:38] Speaker A: What?
[00:01:38] Speaker B: When it had came out that I already have mess with my dad, we already knew together. And people saying that they married.
[00:01:46] Speaker A: We already knew. And another thing too but that monolio and stunner.
Stunner. I had hope for stunner. I had so much hope for stunner bro.
[00:01:56] Speaker B: But he didn't cheat, did he?
[00:01:58] Speaker A: I don't know. Allegedly.
[00:02:01] Speaker B: You see something about that?
[00:02:03] Speaker A: What they say you didn't see it?
[00:02:06] Speaker B: No, I just seen that they were saying that she was posting that she was single and then next thing you know she posted a picture of him. She never may not post or nothing about them.
[00:02:16] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't think they broke up. That why I said they posted up either way. Yeah. I just feel like nah mind other people relationship one minute, one minute they're together, one minute they ain't together. Then you know, but it's mind your business.
What else you think we normalize? That shouldn't really be normalized.
[00:02:39] Speaker B: Going to the club every weekend,
[00:02:43] Speaker A: every day.
[00:02:44] Speaker B: Well you're not close to the club.
[00:02:46] Speaker A: A lot of people go to the club every day. Well I ain't gonna say go to the club every day, but get drunk every day.
[00:02:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:02:52] Speaker A: Like even if it's at home or like I'm gonna say get drunk every day. Like our generation, a lot of us, we just be drinking, drinking, drinking, drinking, drinking, drinking, drinking, drinking drunk. Just drunk somewhere.
[00:03:01] Speaker B: 2024 we went crazy.
[00:03:03] Speaker A: Yeah, that's why I say so. And normalizing, normalizing drinking, that's not a good thing.
[00:03:07] Speaker B: Well I'm glad we.
[00:03:09] Speaker A: A lot of, a lot of people drink every day. Like Monday to Sunday. Like that's, that's a lot. That's a lot of drinking. That's a lot of drinking. And imagine if you smoke too. Oh, my God.
[00:03:21] Speaker B: Oh. We used to be turning up literally on a Tuesday.
[00:03:24] Speaker A: Tuesday. Most of that Wendy's. What's up? We here.
We here. For sure. We.
Another thing, another thing that I feel like. I feel like we normalize too is like in relationships, it's like texting. Like, it's hard. Hard to get a text back or like, hard to communicate. I'm gonna say it's hard to communicate. Like, yeah, people don't really communicate a lot.
[00:03:54] Speaker B: Like, everybody wanna play hard to get.
[00:03:57] Speaker A: Yeah. And I don't play all that.
[00:03:59] Speaker B: But I really feel like the women, the woman should be chased. The woman shouldn't be chasing the man.
[00:04:04] Speaker A: So you feel like the man should be chasing the woman?
[00:04:07] Speaker B: Yes. Why would a woman chase a man?
[00:04:08] Speaker A: Let me ask you this. Why you feel like the man should be chasing a woman?
[00:04:12] Speaker B: Because I'm precious cargo. Like, what you mean, you suppose you should worship the ground I work walk
[00:04:20] Speaker A: on, but you shouldn't worship. Worship the ground and he walk on.
[00:04:22] Speaker B: It should be equal, but a man should still put in more effort.
[00:04:26] Speaker A: So you don't think. So if, if a man want to leave his lady, you don't think that the girl should chase the man?
[00:04:34] Speaker B: It depends on what he want to leave for.
You saying, like, if he leave because the woman not meeting his needs, yeah, she could probably make some changes if he approach her the right way about it.
But if he just up and say, I'm leaving because you don't want to change and didn't give her no chances, hell no, he shouldn't chase him.
[00:04:57] Speaker A: I don't even go lie. I don't do no chasing. That's one thing about me. I don't do no chasing for no nigga. You hear me? I let the niggas do the chasing. But I feel like that if I was to come across, you know, a man that is worth chasing, I feel like I chase him. I'm not going to lie.
[00:05:10] Speaker B: It all depends.
[00:05:10] Speaker A: Like, I'm not going to lie. I feel like men, men don't get valued enough anyway. So like women, women always be like, men need to do this, men need to do that. Men need to do this, Men need to do that. What the hell we need to do.
[00:05:26] Speaker B: I know some stuff I need to do.
[00:05:28] Speaker A: We doing shit.
[00:05:30] Speaker B: But that's just like, we just.
[00:05:32] Speaker A: We just throwing stuff out, telling them what to do.
[00:05:35] Speaker B: Yeah, but that's like all around.
[00:05:37] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:05:38] Speaker B: But like, fix yourself as a person to like other people. Like with Friendship.
[00:05:42] Speaker A: But we normal. We normalize putting everything on a man. We normalize that in this generation.
[00:05:48] Speaker B: Like, you know, you one of the ones that do it.
[00:05:52] Speaker A: Do it. Put everything on the man. Ain't got no man sister. You know that.
[00:05:55] Speaker B: But as soon as you have one, better put some gas in my car.
[00:05:59] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, because that's what we normalize. That's all I'm saying. It's normalized, like. But I'm saying, like, you know, I feel like we don't do or we don't do a lot for when I have. I say that when I have a though, I definitely take care of my though.
[00:06:14] Speaker B: Yeah. I'm not still. I feel like if I'm putting the effort towards you, you can put in a little bit.
[00:06:21] Speaker A: So you feel like you feel like just need to give more effort than the girl, basically.
[00:06:25] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:06:27] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. Okay. I guess. I guess.
I guess I'm gonna let you have that one.
I feel like it should be equal, though.
[00:06:35] Speaker B: It can't be equal. But.
[00:06:36] Speaker A: But I do feel what you saying, though, cuz. I do feel like a man should, you know, cuz me, it don't take much for men, bro.
[00:06:42] Speaker B: Do you know how easy men have it?
[00:06:44] Speaker A: Yeah, it don't take much from men.
[00:06:45] Speaker B: They don't have the go to work.
They have no, like, actual responsibilities. They don't have to cook. They don't have to get kids.
[00:06:54] Speaker A: They supposed to pay. They supposed to pay the bills.
[00:06:56] Speaker B: They pay the bills.
[00:06:57] Speaker A: But I'm saying that's the biggest thing.
We don't pay the bills. We done nothing we can do.
[00:07:03] Speaker B: No, but I'm saying that's why I said they should put in more effort, because women do a lot of stuff.
[00:07:09] Speaker A: Women do do a lot, though, especially.
[00:07:10] Speaker B: And women make a lot of sacrifices. Like, a woman can have a baby, and her and her were like, she in a relationship or whatever, and she could be in college or whatever. What she going to have to do?
[00:07:20] Speaker A: Probably drop out.
[00:07:22] Speaker B: Yep. Have the baby.
[00:07:23] Speaker A: And what.
[00:07:24] Speaker B: The man get to do whatever he want. Still get the word.
He just free.
[00:07:32] Speaker A: That is true. But I feel like that's another thing. Too many learn to take care of their kids.
[00:07:39] Speaker B: That is something else.
[00:07:40] Speaker A: For real.
Men need to learn to take care of their kids. For real. Like, all this pressure that they be putting on the mamas and stuff. Like, damn, can y' all at least go pick the damn baby up? Like, come on. Like, y'. All. Don't y' all already.
One thing about niggas ain't gonna tell you this. But they love outside.
Okay? Like, they might not go to this club and this club, but if it's somewhere that they know they had them a good time at, they gonna keep going. They gonna keep going. You hear me? They gonna keep going. Like, so. No, I feel like they niggas need to learn to step up. Like, you gotta be more than just a provider for your kid. Like, yeah, we stay at home and stuff, but I need for you to, like, pick my baby up. Like, at least let me go out sometime and you stay at home with the baby or something, you know? Like, don't be with all that. A lot of don't do that.
So shout out to the ones that do have their kids. Daddies of the year.
But yeah.
[00:08:39] Speaker B: Damn.
[00:08:41] Speaker A: Got it good, boo. Got it good.
Relationships, too. Relationships.
When people be all on the Internet telling what. What happened over the night time.
[00:08:54] Speaker B: What you mean over the night?
[00:08:55] Speaker A: Like, you know how, like, people be arguing and stuff in their relationship, and the next thing you know, they wake up, they put it on the Internet.
Let's. This didn't happen.
[00:09:06] Speaker B: Like, they didn't get.
[00:09:07] Speaker A: Why are you telling us what happened in your relationship? Y' all about to be right back together.
[00:09:10] Speaker B: One week later, they'd be like, still my man.
[00:09:12] Speaker A: It's like, why did you tell us now? We over here talking about you, and you done went back to your man.
Like, literally, like, come on now.
Like, no, we had to stop that.
[00:09:24] Speaker B: They be looking at us, go crazy about what they got going on.
[00:09:28] Speaker A: And I say. When I say going crazy, I mean going crazy. You hear me?
[00:09:31] Speaker B: Like, girl, you ain't heard.
[00:09:32] Speaker A: Like, bro, you ain't saw what Taylor had said about her, man, what he did last night, man, ain't no way she gonna talk to him again.
[00:09:42] Speaker B: I love when it turned into a fight.
[00:09:46] Speaker A: Not getting wicked.
[00:09:47] Speaker B: No, I'm talking about, like, if the man cheating and the two. The two women fight.
[00:09:51] Speaker A: Yeah, now they got wicked. Because now everybody know now y' all all on the Internet letting out who he about to settle with, which one of y' all he about to pick. For real.
[00:09:59] Speaker B: I love a good life.
[00:10:00] Speaker A: Yes, a good life.
A good life with a crash out.
Yeah, I'm definitely tuned in. Phone, iPad, and MacBook. I got all of them.
[00:10:10] Speaker B: And we might even be in the
[00:10:12] Speaker A: group chat on exactly what's up. Yeah, I love that. But. And I definitely. I'm one of the ones. I wouldn't. I wouldn't get on live, but I'm definitely the one in there viewing. Even if I Don't know you. I'm still looking at it.
[00:10:23] Speaker B: You.
[00:10:24] Speaker A: This girl don't even know what she doing. Girl, I'm just tuning in.
[00:10:27] Speaker B: Sometimes if I don't want you to know I'm looking, I just turn the video on.
[00:10:31] Speaker A: The video on the outside, you turn to look from the outside.
[00:10:35] Speaker B: But I really want to see them coming.
[00:10:36] Speaker A: Exactly. That's why I be having to click on it because I want to see the comments too. If I can't see the comments, that's like the TikToks. The comments make the video so much better.
[00:10:44] Speaker B: Like yes.
[00:10:45] Speaker A: What you can look at a video, you won't crack a smile, you won't laugh or nothing. As soon as you get on comments, man, you need them comments though. You really do need them comments.
For real.
[00:10:55] Speaker B: Yeah, but you know what, that how people get viral and stuff on Tik Tok, oversharing their relationship drama or drama with their friendships, that really how they be blowing up.
[00:11:07] Speaker A: Yeah, but I feel like sometimes you don't need to be overshared. Some stuff is.
[00:11:11] Speaker B: But that's how they blow up.
[00:11:13] Speaker A: You got to pick and choose what you want to overshare.
[00:11:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:11:16] Speaker A: Because you know once, once they get on the Internet, you really cannot say nothing to nobody about what they got to say. Cuz you put it on the Internet like you literally explored. You literally put this up here for all of us to see.
So you can't be mad at me because now I got to put my little two cent in you. You should have never, you should have never posted it.
[00:11:33] Speaker B: But guess what? I don't want nobody putting their two cent on me. In on me.
[00:11:36] Speaker A: Well don't post it on the Internet.
[00:11:38] Speaker B: You need to keep it because you might need it one day.
[00:11:40] Speaker A: Exactly.
I'll get it back. You always get two cent back.
Always. You know, so you can find that outside.
So I don't know, I. I don't really too much like I ain't gonna say. I like when people give me their opinion because I really don't.
But if it's something that I asked you or something that I literally put in your face and you come. I mean, what can I really say?
It's really nothing that I can say. Exactly. There's nothing I can say like so I feel like yeah, some stuff just don't be meant for the Internet.
But you know, the Internet do come in handy though because when people be making them gofundmes for like when they be needing help, people be coming through for real. Like you come across some Good people. Yeah. You can come across some good people
[00:12:28] Speaker B: on the Internet that you don't know that'll help you.
[00:12:31] Speaker A: It's a risk, but you just don't know if it gonna be good or bad. You don't know what. You don't know what gonna happen. For real, Bo.
[00:12:36] Speaker B: No, but you know what do we. Back to the Facebook Live situation. Like when people get caught cheating.
[00:12:42] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:12:42] Speaker B: You know, make it go up when they post videos that nobody was ever supposed to see to them.
[00:12:49] Speaker A: Yeah. Like with they titties out ass l. In the bed. Like, bro. Oh, I'm so embarrassed. I'm so embarrassed. I would not. I would hate for that.
What? What?
Yes.
[00:13:01] Speaker B: What?
[00:13:01] Speaker A: What? Br. Come on. I'm do that.
No. What you just. You that bad? You just supposed to. This like, you supposed to be with my butt in the air or what
[00:13:12] Speaker B: if you take the pictures and send them to your. What boyfriend?
[00:13:16] Speaker A: He already saw that. He know what going on the Internet, though. There so many people, like, so many people on the Internet. Like, people already probably don't like me. They about to see my butt, like, everything people. I don't know. I might be walking in st. Oh, the girl that. That. That her man had posted her butt
[00:13:34] Speaker B: on the Internet that KB Never gave
[00:13:37] Speaker A: a. Oh, oh, no.
Never give a. I give a. I give a about this.
I give a about this. For real.
[00:13:49] Speaker B: I do give a.
[00:13:50] Speaker A: About this.
You think people want, like, healthy relationships these days or do you think we just normalize, like, toxic, dramatic relationships? Like, honestly, Honestly, Honestly, honestly, if we
[00:14:10] Speaker B: being honest, I had went through a phase where I wanted to be toxic, but now I don't outgrew that. That draining.
[00:14:17] Speaker A: But what do you think we normalize?
[00:14:19] Speaker B: Oh, people normalize being in toxic relationships.
[00:14:23] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:14:24] Speaker B: They love it.
[00:14:25] Speaker A: And I cannot take it. I mean, it's okay for us to be healthy with a little. A little bit. Oh, but God, why you got to talk to six holes and still want to talk to me?
[00:14:35] Speaker B: No.
[00:14:37] Speaker A: Okay, like, why you driving? Like, why are you doing this to me? Like, no, I don't. Like, I cannot take that.
I can't take that. Like, that toxic relationship. So that why I say all that oversharing on the Internet, all that. Yeah, no, it's just too much stuff that we normalize now in relationships that make it so toxic. Like, so. So much stuff that we do now that we not supposed to do in a relationship. That's why so much unhealthy relationships. Like, if we just do what we supposed to do. Stop telling people what Going on with us and all that, we'll be okay. Because they wouldn't know. Like, they wouldn't know. We wouldn't have no reason to be acting weird or acting funny or nothing like that.
[00:15:18] Speaker B: Well, you saying, like, if you keep people out your relationship. Yes, that is true.
[00:15:22] Speaker A: Like, and then, you know, some people, once you tell them something, they don't let go, they be madder than you let me madder than you. Like, damn, I'm sorry, bitch. I should have never told you that.
[00:15:32] Speaker B: I want to beat his ass.
[00:15:33] Speaker A: Oh, my God. Now I can't even bring you around. My man. God damn.
So, yeah, I just don't know.
[00:15:47] Speaker B: So how do you feel about excuses?
Say, for instance, you and your friends supposed to be going out and y' all done talked about it all day, and when the time come, they don't
[00:15:58] Speaker A: show up the last minute.
I'm not a fan.
[00:16:04] Speaker B: I think that's inconsiderate.
[00:16:05] Speaker A: That's very inconsiderate. Especially if it was like, a group thing, like, and you was included in a number count or, like, anything they got to do as a group, like, that's something that you should have been let us know so we could have work something out without you. Because right now you worked in plans.
[00:16:23] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:16:24] Speaker A: So for you to not come or for you to just back out last minute when it's time for us to leave and get together.
Okay. You ain't gotta talk about.
[00:16:33] Speaker B: Girl, I was taking a nap.
[00:16:34] Speaker A: You ain't gotta worry about it no more. I'm sorry. You ain't gotta worry about it no more.
[00:16:38] Speaker B: Right?
[00:16:39] Speaker A: You ain't gotta worry about it no more. It's a lot of stuff that we.
We normalize with work, too, though.
[00:16:45] Speaker B: Like what?
[00:16:46] Speaker A: Like, I feel like always being available to go in is not something that we should. We should do. Like, I feel like we need to learn.
[00:16:53] Speaker B: We need to learn boundaries.
[00:16:55] Speaker A: Yes. Yes, we do. Like, we definitely need to learn. And you know how, like, when people be like, oh, I'm always at work, I. I go to work every day or I work this many hours.
Like, girl, okay. I mean, I would. That's not a flex. Like, working all the time. Like, we normalize stuff that shouldn't be. Like, we. We need breaks. We need breaks.
[00:17:16] Speaker B: Don't think you need no break, though.
[00:17:18] Speaker A: They don't.
[00:17:18] Speaker B: They never want you.
[00:17:19] Speaker A: You know, they. They love to say, well, your job ain't like mine. You ain't doing this. You just now started work. Whoa.
[00:17:26] Speaker B: You got 40 more years to go. If I still working for somebody one on four. 65.
[00:17:31] Speaker A: 65.
[00:17:33] Speaker B: I don't want to be working for nobody.
[00:17:35] Speaker A: You still going to be working.
[00:17:36] Speaker B: All right, If I was about to
[00:17:38] Speaker A: say, man, at 65, I am not trying to be where I'm not working. I'm not gonna be working at 65. I'm gonna be so old.
[00:17:45] Speaker B: I have people running like, my back
[00:17:48] Speaker A: gonna be worn out. My knee probably gonna be hurting. I'm probably gonna have arthritis. I can't take all that talk working.
I plan on to start working in my early 50s, I hope.
[00:17:58] Speaker B: What you gonna be doing?
[00:18:02] Speaker A: How you go?
[00:18:04] Speaker B: What's your plan? You plan to have your own business?
[00:18:06] Speaker A: No, hopefully. Hopefully I just can retire. Hopefully. Hopefully. I don't know. Ain't you got to be like 60 to retire or 65? I think 65, that mean they want me to work while I'm 60.
That's old as hell.
[00:18:21] Speaker B: But as you start to become a
[00:18:23] Speaker A: senior citizen, girl, I don't know about all that.
[00:18:26] Speaker B: Think about how they feel. People 60 people that in their 60s and 70s now, they had the word all day.
[00:18:33] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:34] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:18:34] Speaker A: I can't.
[00:18:34] Speaker B: Busy as we do now. They didn't have it exactly.
[00:18:39] Speaker A: But now, though, I can't. I'm not gonna be able to make it to 60. I don't even like working now. You're trying to tell me I got 40 more years to.
Yeah, okay.
I am gonna be so.
I don't even know. I don't even know. I'm not gonna be. I'm gonna be so depressed, probably.
I was gonna be so fed up with work, I'd be fed up now.
[00:19:03] Speaker B: It do not be that bad.
[00:19:06] Speaker A: See, you know one thing people don't do? People don't know how I feel. People don't be knowing how you feel about stuff. Okay? You don't know how bad I feel about going to work.
[00:19:19] Speaker B: You need to let that go, Kevin.
[00:19:21] Speaker A: Like, it's. That's a bad feeling. Going to work is a bad feeling, bruh.
[00:19:26] Speaker B: When you start feeling like that, it's just time for a new job.
[00:19:28] Speaker A: No, I feel like everywhere I go, I just don't like to work. I want to work at home, for myself, by myself. So I need to get good at something. I need to get good at something so I can do something at home. So that's why I'm just picking up all this size to see what I gotta do because baby don't work out. I gotta get off the bro. I cannot bro. I do not like going like it's just the fact that somebody telling me I probably need, I probably need to not normalize that. I don't like being told what to do, bro. But I don't like anybody to tell me I gotta come to work at this time or I gotta leave at this time. Or like, yeah, I can't take it.
[00:20:04] Speaker B: But the thing with wanting to be your own, like you trying different stuff to pick, figure out what go get. You can be your own boss.
You gotta stay consistent in one thing. You can't just find a hobby and say, I'm gonna make money off this.
[00:20:19] Speaker A: Yeah. Because that's not always gonna be how it works.
[00:20:21] Speaker B: I feel like you gotta put your full focus in one thing at a time.
[00:20:25] Speaker A: Yeah. And another thing too, because I do be doing a lot at one time. So it really don't be on. No. Like, I will put my complete focus on this and my complete focus on that. I kind of be all over the place.
But I feel like that way that come. That what comes with a set schedule or like a strict schedule.
Like you can fit whatever you want in your schedule if you plan it out right.
[00:20:47] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:20:47] Speaker A: Like, so I feel like it just comes with planning ahead. Maybe like instead of us just like, are we gonna do this, are we gonna do that? Like, we're gonna have to learn to start playing in the head type junk.
Because with me, I ain't gonna story. I just now recently started like, I'll say playing in the head. Cause I used to be like, go with the flow type of girl. And don't get me wrong, I'm still a go with the flow type of girl. I'm still going to flow type of girl. But with some stuff and some things, it's like, okay, we got to be growing about this.
We gotta, we gotta figure out what time we're gonna do this, when we gonna do it, how we gonna do it, what we gonna do.
[00:21:23] Speaker B: So they're the same for me.
[00:21:25] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:26] Speaker B: Like, I need to get to the point where I'm up at like six o' clock in the morning, ready to get my day started.
[00:21:31] Speaker A: I ain't seeing all that.
I can't wake up that early.
[00:21:35] Speaker B: Like you can if you go to bed on time, but it hard for you to do that.
[00:21:39] Speaker A: You know what though?
I wake up early though. Like, my thing is I always go back to sleep. Like I'll be waking up like 7, 8 o', clock, but I'll take you.
[00:21:48] Speaker B: I wake up at like 5, 40, 5, 50 in the morning.
[00:21:52] Speaker A: Yeah, but I'll Take me a nap. And then once I take that nap,
[00:21:56] Speaker B: I sleep for like, I'll still for like 20 minutes, go to sleep, get back up at 8, 8:30.
[00:22:04] Speaker A: Yeah, but I don't really. That's not my dream life is to just wake up at whatever time I want to wake up, go do. Go do whatever I want to do, whenever I want to do it, how I want to do it. You got to get a routine first so you can get. I don't want to work, I don't want. I just want to live. I literally just want to live. Like, literally.
[00:22:27] Speaker B: You might as well get you a rv.
I'm trying to figure out what you want to do. Like, you just want to sit around.
[00:22:40] Speaker A: You thought I might as well give me an rv. Pretty much. Like, that's literally all I want to do.
[00:22:44] Speaker B: You just want a lot of gang.
[00:22:46] Speaker A: Yes, that's literally. That's literally what I want to do. I just want a lot of gas. I want to walk by the tree, pull me some money, go on my day. Like, I just want money to just.
I gotta be a stay at home wife. Not mom, but wife.
[00:22:58] Speaker B: But you can have a dog.
[00:22:59] Speaker A: Yep, a small one. A very, very small, like one that can fit in my pocketbook.
[00:23:04] Speaker B: Girl, bye.
[00:23:06] Speaker A: Very, very small.
[00:23:07] Speaker B: Get it together.
[00:23:08] Speaker A: I want to get up, get dressed, put on me some cute clothes every day and just go out the house and do whatever I want to do. Literally. Come back home, take me a bath with some roses in my bath with bubblegum, you know?
[00:23:18] Speaker B: Well, I feel like the only way you could probably get that life these days is if you become a content creator.
[00:23:24] Speaker A: Take too much time,
[00:23:27] Speaker B: you be doing it. Some days
[00:23:31] Speaker A: I couldn't like sit my phone up, drive off, come back, pick my phone up.
[00:23:36] Speaker B: Like, no, when they walk in the store, like, you don't think that be weird as hell.
[00:23:40] Speaker A: I gotta go stick my phone up, walk out now I gotta let it record me walk back in the stove and I still gotta go back and get like, no, that's too much. I can't.
[00:23:47] Speaker B: Like, that feels so awkward doing it.
[00:23:50] Speaker A: I'm just so impatient. Like, and that just gonna take up too much, too much of my time. Like, that's gonna take up too much of my time. And that's another thing. I feel like we need to stop normalizing too. Not putting time into ourselves.
[00:24:01] Speaker B: Like, yes, I was doing stuff for other people.
[00:24:03] Speaker A: Yes. Every time somebody want us to do something or something like that, we just be so ready to do it for them. But like, I ain't gonna. I don't know when the last time I brought myself something nice.
Like, it's been a minute since I brought my. That's why I said I'm ordering me some clothes or something, because it's been a minute since I brought myself something nice. Yeah, like,
[00:24:22] Speaker B: I know one thing, one new thing I need to get myself. What, a new phone?
[00:24:26] Speaker A: Yeah, I said I was gonna get me a new phone for my birthday, baby. I'm still rocking with this 14 pro, 14 promise.
[00:24:33] Speaker B: I had this jump since 2022.
[00:24:35] Speaker A: The 17th, 2026.
[00:24:38] Speaker B: They about to be coming out with 18 in September, right? And I still got this.
[00:24:42] Speaker A: I need me a new phone, and my junk cracked, like, so low down.
Like, I be having.
[00:24:48] Speaker B: I need it. I owe myself that when I get that taking pictures
[00:24:54] Speaker A: and your camera broke, too.
Yeah, you right. That gonna be. That gonna be luxury to you for sure. Yep, luxury.
Let's see.
What's something else? You think we need to stop normalizing these days?
Oh, I know something. We need to stop normalizing these days.
[00:25:14] Speaker B: What?
[00:25:14] Speaker A: Recording every damn thing.
Like, yo, we record everything.
Like.
[00:25:22] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:25:23] Speaker A: We literally, like the icarly generation. Like, literally. You could be taking a pop in a squat on the side of the road. Your friend gonna record you to literally speak, bro.
Like, you could be shaking your butt on a man, knowing you could be shaking your butt on a man, knowing your friend got a man. She's still recording you.
[00:25:41] Speaker B: Like, bro, you ain't gonna send it to. You didn't.
[00:25:44] Speaker A: Yes. Like, we record everything. Like, what if our phone get leak or something?
[00:25:48] Speaker B: Like, they just expose everybody phone.
[00:25:50] Speaker A: We done somebody, bro. Somebody is cold. Like, we going be world war, bro.
Like, we record everything, bro. Literally, when I say everything, everything. Like, if I ain't going story, though, if I was to see some crazy stuff, some crazy stuff, I would definitely record it. Like, I be seeing people record, like, the crackheads and stuff, and they be all bent over and stuff. Like, what is. Bro, I would have kept driving so fat. No, I would have kept. I would have been so scared they'd be looking like zombies, bro.
[00:26:22] Speaker B: They get all in everything.
[00:26:25] Speaker A: Like, we record everything. But if I was to see somebody, like, do a line of cocoa or something like that. No, I'm not gonna lie. I'm probably gonna record that. I probably.
[00:26:34] Speaker B: Oh, so you can wait to use it again.
[00:26:36] Speaker A: Oh, my God, y'. All.
They fucking doing cool. Oh, my God.
Like, stuff like that.
[00:26:43] Speaker B: Like, they don't jump you before you leave out their house.
[00:26:46] Speaker A: I hope not. No, I Hope it's somebody I'm cool with. Cause I'm gonna be so surprised. And hopefully I remember to get the after effect. See how they act after.
Cause I cannot.
[00:26:55] Speaker B: I can't believe that is something worth watching.
[00:26:57] Speaker A: Why would you do that in front of somebody, though?
[00:26:59] Speaker B: People don't care.
That's something that people normalize, too. They be posting about doing powder on Facebook and shit.
[00:27:07] Speaker A: No, that's too much.
That's too much. Like, yeah. For real.
Comparing our lifestyles, too.
[00:27:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:27:16] Speaker A: Cause we too young for that.
Some people just got it and some people just don't.
[00:27:21] Speaker B: But you gotta work for it.
[00:27:22] Speaker A: All right. Well, they say delay, never deny, baby. Get out there, put that foot out that dough, get the crawling and work for everything.
For real. You gotta crawl first. You gotta walk.
[00:27:37] Speaker B: You didn't even hit the ground running. You hit the ground crawling.
[00:27:41] Speaker A: Yeah, I gotta cross.
Yeah. I gotta make my way up all that time. See that? I say putting that time in ourselves, we gotta start putting. We gotta normalize putting time into ourselves and stop not putting time into ourself and giving it to everybody else. Yep. Because everything just takes so long. Everything just take long. School take long. Getting you a job you like or finding your job you like is long. St.
Getting a job is take a long time.
[00:28:10] Speaker B: Yeah. After you had an interview, you have
[00:28:13] Speaker A: to wait two weeks for a call. What's going on?
[00:28:16] Speaker B: Oh, my God.
[00:28:17] Speaker A: Everything just takes so long, bro.
[00:28:18] Speaker B: Like, it take like, two weeks to a month for you to start working a new job.
[00:28:23] Speaker A: Sometimes shoot sometime it take longer than that because you got to find a job that will give you an interview.
[00:28:29] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:28:29] Speaker A: Like, bro, this gotta be a joke. Like, do you not see me here with my application in bruh? Like, what's going on? Like, y' all say y' all need help. What's going on? Like, did y' all break me for real?
[00:28:42] Speaker B: I don't know why it's so hard
[00:28:43] Speaker A: to get drunk, bro. That Jon take so long. Then the job don't be worth shit. Like, I wait all this long time, don't even like the job. Now I got to go through the whole process again. Like, everything just takes so long for. To get stable and settle.
Yes.
[00:28:57] Speaker B: You really don't see most people.
Me personally, in my experience with other people, you really don't see older people. Well, people settling down to their. Like, in their 30s.
[00:29:05] Speaker A: Yeah. Cause we so lost in our 20s. Like, we call ourselves living then we call ourselves coming into depression, having kids. Like, it's just so much that happened in your 20s. Like you don't even got time to find yourself or find out what you like to do or like the real you for real. Like until like towards the end. Cause you done like you just not entering adulthood.
So it's like I gotta do all these things right now. Cause I'm just now new to adulthood. Like, girl, sit your ass down to figure this shit out. It's okay.
[00:29:34] Speaker B: 20 somethings be something. Yes.
[00:29:36] Speaker A: Like, yes. Like that why I say we do gotta stop. We have to stop comparing our lifestyles and social. That's why I say social media do it. Social media do it for you though. Social media would do it for you. Like, you'll see somebody the same age as you like doing way, way better than you, and you be like, bro, what the hell? What the heck do they do? And the first thing we think at our stupid young age. I ain't even gonna say that we do see it a lot. But that scamming, for real,
[00:30:05] Speaker B: they'll be
[00:30:05] Speaker A: doing some scamming for sure.
Because that's exactly what. Yeah.
Do you think I gotta watch you
[00:30:13] Speaker B: be getting away with it for so long?
[00:30:15] Speaker A: I don't know. But I ain't about to find out either. Because I already know. I'm gonna be the one that making example I love.
Now I'm on Facebook. Busted news. Florida, South Carolina, bro. Oh, my God.
Like, this is my first time. I'm sorry.
People do that job for a long time, bro. And they get away with it and they don't care. I do be wondering like, how people be learning stuff like that, though. That's why I say all it take is for you to learn something one good time.
[00:30:41] Speaker B: If some people take off with it, like, you know, some people make a living out of stealing.
[00:30:47] Speaker A: Out of stealing, like stealing stuff out
[00:30:49] Speaker B: the store and then selling it to make money off of it.
[00:30:52] Speaker A: You see what boosting. You see what happened in Shout?
She's still sitting.
Ooh, I ain't doing no boosting.
Mm, mm. Stillin'. No, like, it's no. Out of all the stuff in life you can make a living. Out of all the stuff you can normalize.
Uh, stay y' all ass at home.
No. Like, it's no way. Like, when you get caught, it's over with.
[00:31:21] Speaker B: It depends. It might be a habitual offenders and that when you get it.
[00:31:24] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:31:25] Speaker B: If you're a booster, some people you're feeling good at it, bro. Like, I know you just seen the people talking about that new show on Netflix.
[00:31:33] Speaker A: What? Nemesis?
[00:31:35] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:31:35] Speaker A: Bro, I ain't Watched it yet. So I don't want to hear nothing.
[00:31:38] Speaker B: Just let me tell you one part.
[00:31:39] Speaker A: The beginning.
[00:31:40] Speaker B: Everybody know about the beginning.
Then the Halloween party.
So him and his lady going to Halloween party or whatever, they go upstairs acting like they want a room so they can have sex or whatever. But the whole time he went there, changed his costume and went and robbed somebody. Came back through and left out the room and went back in the Halloween party with all the money he stole and switched back into his original costume.
[00:32:08] Speaker A: So they should have known something happened because he didn't.
[00:32:10] Speaker B: No, they jam the cameras and was act like they was in the room having sex.
[00:32:16] Speaker A: See? Sneaky ass.
[00:32:19] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:32:21] Speaker A: Strategy. Yeah. You just got to be sneaky, though.
I don't think I'm sneaky enough, though. No, I'm not sneaky enough. Like. And. And one thing about me, guil. Eat me up.
[00:32:31] Speaker B: Yeah, eat me up. So that way I don't do bad stuff.
[00:32:34] Speaker A: Yeah, I'll be.
I definitely.
I'll probably tell on myself to the police. To the police. I ain't getting involved with the police. You know that about me. I ain't never got to worry about the police, Lord forbid. But no, the police.
No, not me. I don't even want y' all behind me. Soon as you get over. Soon as you get behind me, I'm getting on the other lane. If you come over there, I'm turning to the next parking lot.
[00:33:01] Speaker B: Then they gonna know you trying to get away from them.
[00:33:02] Speaker A: Well, when they stop me, what they stop me for? Nothing.
Go by your name.
I'm scared. Shit. I'm scared, officer shit. I just don't like the police, bro. They just so. I don't know. They can do. They can just do whatever they want to you. And you wouldn't even, like.
You wouldn't even, like, know it
[00:33:21] Speaker B: ain't nothing we can do about it.
[00:33:23] Speaker A: Ain't nothing I'm trying to do about it. I just gotta stay out they way. That's it.
Need to stay outta their way.
So next thing.
Okay, let's talk about friendships.
Something I think we normalize in friendships is trauma. Trauma dumping.
[00:33:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:33:51] Speaker A: Like, I feel like we always go to our friends with so much stuff at. At one time that we don't even really give them time to come to us sometime with what going on with them, like. Cause we always coming to them with our problems that we don't give them time to express themselves.
I feel like we normalize that these days too.
[00:34:14] Speaker B: I know I can do that sometimes. I can't Help it, though. Like, if I got something up on my chest, I gotta get it off me.
[00:34:20] Speaker A: But if you don't,
[00:34:23] Speaker B: I can't say, because I never let it get that far.
[00:34:27] Speaker A: You don't feel good?
[00:34:28] Speaker B: No.
[00:34:29] Speaker A: And that goes back to that thing about people counseling on you last minute, too. I don't like that.
We need to stop normalizing that. We don't need to be counseling on our friends last minute.
Not our friends. Maybe these niggas, but not our friends.
So, yeah, I just. And then I feel like a lot of times people don't even see their friends as much as they should. Like, people always say they rarely see their best friend, and that's supposed to be the person you see the most.
[00:34:56] Speaker B: I think it all depends.
[00:34:59] Speaker A: And that's crazy. Like, so, you know, if you don't really see. If you don't really see, like, your friends that often, I feel like we definitely shouldn't be counseling then. Like, if it's like, you. Your friends, like, the whole group thing and y'. All. The whole. Everybody don't usually get together all the time, that's perfect. Why would you cancel? Yeah, like, why would you. Come on now. Like, and then last minute, like, who's
[00:35:23] Speaker B: depending on you Just blew you.
[00:35:25] Speaker A: You just blew me. For real. You just blew me. Not even gonna. No,
[00:35:36] Speaker B: That's something that we go. Hang up.
We'll leave that alone.
Stop being inconsiderate.
[00:35:44] Speaker A: Yeah.
Things that I'm going to leave alone. Hang up.
I don't know.
[00:35:58] Speaker B: I'm going give up procrastination.
[00:36:03] Speaker A: Yes. I need to give up procrastination, too. I also need to give up.
[00:36:11] Speaker B: I do
[00:36:13] Speaker A: hear that. I need to put that on the back burner.
And.
And I need to give up getting mad, too.
[00:36:21] Speaker B: You does. That's a natural emotion. That's not something you can give up.
[00:36:25] Speaker A: I get a. I get mad fast, girl.
But, like, you. You almost pissed me off just now.
[00:36:30] Speaker B: How.
[00:36:30] Speaker A: Cause you talking about something like that. An emotion. Something. Something like, girl, what?
Well, I just get mad for no reason.
[00:36:37] Speaker B: Well, that ain't good.
[00:36:38] Speaker A: You need to put on that.
[00:36:39] Speaker B: You need to hang that up.
[00:36:40] Speaker A: I just said. But that is how fast I get mad, though, for real. Like, that's literally an example of how fast I would get mad. Like, I literally get mad for nothing. And once I get mad, it's just, like, all the way there.
Another thing I need to give up, too, is expressing myself so much.
Like, I feel like some stuff does not have to be said.
Some stuff you can just keep to yourself. Like, I literally say everything that come to my mouth.
[00:37:03] Speaker B: I was about to say. I don't know. I can't relate because. And you do you literally just said that if I got something on my chest. Yes.
[00:37:09] Speaker A: We got to stop. We got to stop doing that. Like, everything is.
[00:37:12] Speaker B: It's not good to hold your tongue all the time.
[00:37:14] Speaker A: It's not. But it's not good to say everything all the time, either. What? It's not good to say everything all the time either.
[00:37:20] Speaker B: Yeah, that is true.
[00:37:20] Speaker A: Like you. I say it's like a picking and choosing type of. Yeah.
[00:37:23] Speaker B: It depends on the situation.
[00:37:25] Speaker A: Some stuff. Just some stuff. You just got to be like, okay. Like, just pray it off. Just pray it off and wipe it off your shoulder and hope everything going to work out, man.
[00:37:34] Speaker B: I try, cuz.
[00:37:36] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:37:36] Speaker B: Can I get an E for effort?
[00:37:37] Speaker A: E for effort. That's it. I don't need no A. I just need E.
[00:37:44] Speaker B: Awesome.
[00:37:44] Speaker A: A plus plus. Awesome.
Al awesome. Af.
Sh.
[00:38:02] Speaker B: What's one fate Normal. You refuse to participate in cheating.
[00:38:06] Speaker A: Ass.
Keep them.
Keep them.
[00:38:10] Speaker B: People do. Normalize that.
[00:38:11] Speaker A: Keep them. Like, you think you know your man cheating and you still about to stay with him.
[00:38:15] Speaker B: I was about to ask you if you catch your man cheating one time, he automatically outed up.
[00:38:21] Speaker A: Nowadays. Yes.
Cause one thing I learned, I think
[00:38:24] Speaker B: when a man start cheating, he's not gonna stop.
[00:38:26] Speaker A: He's not bro.
He's not bro. I'm telling you. Like, you sit there and start that shit is over. And then he bruh. Then he got caught and you stayed.
That's the wrong way right there. He got it. He got it. That's. Bro. That's the greenest thing you could do, bro. Your man cheat on you and you stay.
You literally just giving him more opportunity to cheat on you. You literally saying, yeah, go ahead, bae. Go ahead. You.
[00:38:48] Speaker B: I'm just.
[00:38:48] Speaker A: You all right. I'll be right here when you come at you. All right?
Like, once you give a person an opportunity to do it one time and they get away with it.
[00:38:57] Speaker B: Fool me one time, they're gonna keep doing it.
Fool me two times.
Same on me.
You might. It depends.
[00:39:13] Speaker A: And you know what happened after that
[00:39:14] Speaker B: could be a toxic relationship.
[00:39:16] Speaker A: We loading that chocolate. We letting it rain on your ass, girl.
[00:39:19] Speaker B: Bye. You ain't gonna shoot nobody.
You know. You ain't shooting nobody.
[00:39:27] Speaker A: No. You know I'm scary. Please. Hold it, hold it, hold it, hold it, hold it.
[00:39:31] Speaker B: You probably get some BER or a taser before done.
[00:39:34] Speaker A: Yeah, I wouldn't shoot nobody. Well, well, it would have to be something for a good, good reason, but yeah, but I definitely. I can't do the cheating though. I can't do that. I wouldn't. Another thing that I feel like that I'm not doing, that we normalize these days is not like not texting back, like unhealthy stuff.
[00:39:54] Speaker B: Yeah, I got a bad habit of that.
[00:39:56] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm not. I'm not doing that.
[00:39:57] Speaker B: Like, maybe I should hang that up too, but I just got to get out of it. I don't know when it started, cuz I be used to be on my phone all the time.
[00:40:04] Speaker A: You still be on your phone a lot, but the only thing about you is that you don't. You be on your phone, but you be on social media.
[00:40:08] Speaker B: Yeah, not social.
[00:40:11] Speaker A: It's like you are digging the teapot like I am.
Calm down.
That's what you need to give up. Okay, now go ahead, tell, tell. Tell me what you giving up.
[00:40:20] Speaker B: I'm not giving up. Tik Tok.
[00:40:22] Speaker A: That need to be the first one, girl.
[00:40:24] Speaker B: Tik tok is the best thing.
[00:40:26] Speaker A: Like, or you need to like, back off of it.
[00:40:28] Speaker B: Like, no, I be on Facebook. Facebook can be kind of draining sometimes.
[00:40:32] Speaker A: Maybe you can just back up the whole phone. Maybe not just social, just Tik Tok, social media, you know, like the whole thing.
Bray be on her phone in the middle of the club.
[00:40:41] Speaker B: I sure will.
[00:40:42] Speaker A: Can't even hear it. Can't even hear it. Just scrolling like, bro, what are you doing? Like, are you even having fun? Like, Br would be on her phone anyway in order for me. We could be sitting in a funeral. Br look over Br like, yo, are
[00:40:54] Speaker B: you on my phone at church?
[00:40:55] Speaker A: Y. Exactly. You see what I'm saying? She be on her phone anyway. Like, she just don't care. She said, this my shit, right?
[00:41:03] Speaker B: I just do a little quick.
[00:41:08] Speaker A: No, you don't.
[00:41:09] Speaker B: I tell you I'm at church.
[00:41:10] Speaker A: Oh, I said, no, you don't.
What else? What else? You. What else? You should think you should give up because that's definitely one vapor.
