[00:00:38] Speaker C: That's your boy Trey. Two times, man.
[00:00:42] Speaker B: How y' all week been
[00:00:45] Speaker C: long Work, work.
[00:00:48] Speaker A: It's been a long time no see.
[00:00:50] Speaker B: Long time no see, ain't it? Long time.
So why don't you tell the people who you are?
[00:01:02] Speaker C: Me personally, I'm just a hard working man, bro. Trying to get out there and get it for real. I ain't rich yet.
Just trying to get there for real.
[00:01:12] Speaker B: Tell them what you do.
[00:01:15] Speaker C: Got a little job, working a little nine to five.
Got down beside that. You know, I might go party every now and then.
Majority of the time I'm working and I'm back home.
[00:01:24] Speaker A: For sure though if you could describe yourself in three words, what would it be?
[00:01:31] Speaker C: Funny for sure.
[00:01:35] Speaker B: Thank you. Funny.
[00:01:36] Speaker C: Yeah, sure. Definitely.
What else?
I could be a gentleman. You know, when it boiled down to I could be a gentleman for sure.
Outstanding.
[00:01:56] Speaker A: What's one thing that people never guess about you or like a fact about you that'll surprise people?
[00:02:05] Speaker C: They'll never see me wearing shorts.
[00:02:08] Speaker B: What?
[00:02:09] Speaker C: No cap?
Like I do not wear shorts.
[00:02:12] Speaker B: Not even in the summertime.
[00:02:13] Speaker C: Not even in the summertime.
[00:02:14] Speaker B: You know, skinny or something. Yes, they are small.
But now that you say that though I have never seen you wear shorts.
[00:02:22] Speaker C: You will never see that.
[00:02:23] Speaker B: Like now that you mention that I've never seen you wear shorts.
[00:02:27] Speaker C: That's crazy.
[00:02:28] Speaker A: That is crazy.
[00:02:29] Speaker C: Why like n it just like bro, I got on socks, bro. I be looking at my legs.
[00:02:35] Speaker B: I'm like bro, yeah, I don't like no with no twig ass legs.
[00:02:38] Speaker C: This don't move like bro, this I will weigh sweatpants. Summertime, winter time, in the season. Sweatpants and jeans.
[00:02:48] Speaker B: Okay, very. So introduce our topic today.
[00:02:51] Speaker A: So today we're going to be talking about healing. Not always being pretty.
A lot of people want to talk about the healed version of themselves, but nobody talks about the steps that it takes to get to the healed version of yourself.
And I feel like healing is an ongoing process. Like it never stops.
[00:03:10] Speaker B: Stops. Definitely. I agree for sure.
[00:03:13] Speaker C: That definitely a fact. You feel me? Cuz healing, bro, like you got to be mentally like ready for that. Like you feel me like cuz you
[00:03:25] Speaker A: know, dang, you never know when you
[00:03:27] Speaker C: going to have to heal right.
[00:03:28] Speaker A: And you don't know when you really broken. They have to be somebody to tell you like, you know, show you the things that you have to work on for yourself. Or address the things that you need to work on.
[00:03:40] Speaker C: It all sound good when they be like, bro, you know it'll get better, bro, you never know when it's going to get better.
[00:03:47] Speaker A: You don't. And time. A lot of people say time use, but time don't heal.
[00:03:52] Speaker C: Nah.
[00:03:53] Speaker A: Depending on the situation.
[00:03:55] Speaker B: Yeah, that's junk. Definitely be ongoing. For sure.
[00:03:57] Speaker A: Yeah. But sure.
[00:03:59] Speaker B: Before we get into the topic, I want to play a little game with y'. All.
[00:04:02] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:04:03] Speaker B: It's called whisper it or say that.
Okay.
[00:04:07] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:04:08] Speaker B: So if you say whisper, that basically mean, like, you should keep your opinion to yourself.
If you say. Say that, it's like, yeah, people need to hear this.
[00:04:16] Speaker C: All right.
[00:04:16] Speaker B: Okay. So my first.
My first one I' ma say is, you can forgive somebody and still never speak to them again.
[00:04:24] Speaker A: Say that.
[00:04:26] Speaker C: I'm a whisperer.
[00:04:32] Speaker A: I'm not going to speak to you again.
You forgive, but you don't forget facts.
[00:04:36] Speaker C: I mean, that's a fact, though.
That's a fact.
[00:04:40] Speaker B: That definitely, like, just because I forgive you, that don't mean, like, you got the right to talk to me again. Like, you might not deserve that, you know? But I forgive you.
[00:04:48] Speaker A: I'm forgiving you for myself and for my sin.
[00:04:51] Speaker B: But another thing, too. I always forgive people, but I don't never forget.
[00:04:54] Speaker C: You ain't gonna never forget?
[00:04:55] Speaker B: Never. I don't know what nobody say.
[00:04:57] Speaker C: You can forgive all you want, bro. Like, that is one thing I had learned. Like, it's like, forgive, like. But me personally, like, I don't hold grudges. So it's like, I still talk to you type.
[00:05:07] Speaker B: I might hold a little grudge.
[00:05:11] Speaker C: It just something about me, bro. Like, I can't do it, like. Cause you never know what happens the next day type shit.
[00:05:16] Speaker B: I hold a grudge. I feel you, though.
[00:05:18] Speaker A: I don't go to sleep mad at nobody.
[00:05:20] Speaker B: That's true. But. But I definitely be on some. Like, I ain't going to lie. You do got me up. Like, so I don't know. I'mma say that, though. I don't care.
[00:05:29] Speaker A: Yeah, I'mma say. I ain't going to hold it, so.
[00:05:32] Speaker B: Another one.
Sometimes healing requires admitting you were the problem.
Say that.
[00:05:41] Speaker C: Say that.
[00:05:41] Speaker A: Yeah, you should say it.
[00:05:43] Speaker B: But a butt?
What? Your butt.
[00:05:48] Speaker A: They're not going to say it because a lot of people don't want to take accountability.
[00:05:51] Speaker B: But you got to, though. Sometimes you just got to, right?
Sometimes it's just to get where you need to be.
[00:05:56] Speaker A: You have to admit your wrongs.
[00:05:57] Speaker B: Exactly.
[00:05:58] Speaker C: Because if you don't it ain't gonna get nowhere. Like, no.
Just gonna be running in circles, bro.
[00:06:04] Speaker B: That is true.
But another thing, too, though. I feel like if I'm go admit my wrongs, then you need to admit yours too.
[00:06:14] Speaker C: Definitely.
[00:06:14] Speaker B: Like, we need to be like, well, round the board.
[00:06:18] Speaker A: I agree.
[00:06:20] Speaker B: Another one is some people use healing as an excuse to treat people badly.
[00:06:26] Speaker C: Whisper.
[00:06:28] Speaker A: Yeah, I agree.
[00:06:29] Speaker B: I'm a whisper. I'm a whisper that I'm gonna whisper it because I feel like sometimes, like, you really never know how somebody feeling, bro. Like, sometimes somebody can just really do Be aggravated. It's like, really, really, really aggravated. Like, and you just was, like, the last. And they just was like.
[00:06:47] Speaker A: They probably walked off, like, broke the camel's back, right?
[00:06:49] Speaker B: They probably walked off like, dog, I ain't even had to do all that. Like, you just never know. Like. And in the healing process, depending on what you healing on, bro, that junk will take you through there.
That junk can take you through there.
[00:06:59] Speaker A: But you also have to realize when people healing, they not paying attention to what they doing wrong.
[00:07:06] Speaker C: Healing to make you do anything, bro. Yeah, all right. He only can make you do anything. Ain't no telling what you're doing when you're in the process of, like, healing for real.
[00:07:17] Speaker B: Okay. Another one is protecting my peace. Protecting my peace has become an excuse to avoid accountability.
[00:07:24] Speaker A: Say that.
[00:07:26] Speaker B: Say that.
[00:07:26] Speaker C: I agree. Say that.
[00:07:28] Speaker B: We all agree.
[00:07:29] Speaker C: Peace matter, bro.
[00:07:31] Speaker B: You can be healed and still get triggered sometimes.
[00:07:34] Speaker A: Yeah, because hell yeah, say that. And another reason I say that is because, like I said before, you never finish healing. It's an ongoing process, depending on the situation.
[00:07:49] Speaker C: It's real.
[00:07:50] Speaker A: What you think?
[00:07:53] Speaker B: I mean, I do agree that healing is an ongoing process, but are you really healed? If it's still triggering you, though?
[00:08:02] Speaker C: Depending on what, like, she said what the situation is type shit.
[00:08:06] Speaker A: You never know exactly.
[00:08:07] Speaker B: But I feel like, for one, if you.
[00:08:09] Speaker A: If you healing, you need to figure out your triggers anyway.
[00:08:12] Speaker B: But I feel like if you're healed, you have control of yourself now in a situation like that.
So you should not be tweaking out and stuff like that. If that situation was to happen, you
[00:08:23] Speaker A: shouldn't be tweaking out. But I feel like it will bother you in a certain way to a certain extent.
[00:08:28] Speaker B: So I don't know. I.
Okay, well, you got one you want to ask?
Okay, well, for my last one, I'm gonna say sometimes the apology you. The. Sometimes the apology you need is the one you'll never receive.
[00:08:43] Speaker A: Say that.
[00:08:44] Speaker C: Say that.
[00:08:44] Speaker B: Yeah, say that for sure.
[00:08:46] Speaker A: And I feel like that's a hindrance in the healing process too.
[00:08:49] Speaker C: It is.
[00:08:51] Speaker B: So you think that that holds you back from healing because you ain't got that apology?
[00:08:57] Speaker A: Not 100%, but it plays a part.
[00:08:59] Speaker C: At the end of the day, I feel like the apology still not going to matter. Cuz you're not going to forget that shit. Like, you can say all you can say, but I'm not going to forget that shit. You feel me? Like, it just an apology, but you're not going to forget that shit, bro. Like, apology, but you still gonna be like, man,
[00:09:24] Speaker B: yeah, for real though. Because that is true. You can't accept somebody apology and just be like, yeah, nah, yeah, I'm sorry, I'm still not going for that.
[00:09:32] Speaker C: I still remember that, bro. Like, I don't give a what the situation is. Like, you could be my friend. You don't stole $5 from me, bro. And I just like, bro, I forgive you for that. But then I'm like, hell nah, bro. I can't come around me.
[00:09:44] Speaker B: Okay, don't come around me, ho.
Okay, so if we all had to say what healing would look like to us, what would y' all describe it as?
I basically already told y' all what
[00:10:00] Speaker C: I think it was as a process without thinking as like, I said struggle, bro.
I said struggle, like.
Cause it's hard. Like healing got to be the hardest thing a person could deal with. Like, no matter what it is, bro, you know me, like, I don't lost a mom, I don't been in a relationship and lost that. Like all that is like, yeah.
[00:10:26] Speaker A: And I feel like losing your mama is something that you can't. Well not say that you can't come back from, but that's something that take a while.
And like you say your triggers with healing, losing the parent, you don't know what could trigger you with your healing process of losing the parent.
[00:10:47] Speaker C: That's a fact. I don't wish that on nobody though. You feel me? But that's why I say it's, you know, it's different. Everybody go through healing differently.
[00:10:55] Speaker A: Everybody handled their healing different. And what healing might look like to me might not look like to everybody else. And also when somebody is going through something, something like, okay, for example, you may heal your coping mechanism, maybe exercising or, you know, reading a book. I mean reading books or whatever somebody else coping mechanism might be them getting high, getting drunk. You don't know what other people healing process look like for them.
[00:11:26] Speaker C: Definitely that's real.
[00:11:28] Speaker A: But I think that healing looks like for me, would be taking it one day at a time, but still pushing forward.
[00:11:36] Speaker B: I agree.
[00:11:37] Speaker A: So if you were putting your best
[00:11:38] Speaker B: foot forward, if you have to describe yourself as being healed, how would you describe yourself?
[00:11:48] Speaker A: What about you come back to me?
[00:11:53] Speaker C: I said, bro, if I had to describe myself, I definitely would say, like,
[00:11:58] Speaker B: no. Being healed.
[00:11:59] Speaker C: Being healed.
[00:12:00] Speaker B: Yeah. Like, if you was to already be healed, how would you describe yourself? It's nowhere. They can hear you in that mic right now.
[00:12:06] Speaker A: I think I would be.
I think I would show up better for the people that matter without being selfish, taking other people into consideration. Because healing is actually a selfish process.
[00:12:20] Speaker B: Yeah. I was about to say that. I feel like when you healing, everything really do become kind of, like, centered around you. Yeah, for sure. I ain't even gonna lie.
And another thing, too. I feel like if I was to have. If I was to be healed, I feel like I would be able, like I said, to handle the situation more better if the situation was to occur again.
And I also feel like that I shouldn't. I should be able to move forward without thinking about that situation no more.
When that. When that happened, I would consider myself kind of like, okay, yeah, girl.
Like, you are right now. You doing the thing.
[00:12:57] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:12:59] Speaker B: So.
So online versus in real life.
So let me ask y' all something, though.
Do y' all think when people go ghost and say they're healing, they're really healing, though, or do you think they just.
[00:13:23] Speaker A: I think they really do work for some people.
[00:13:26] Speaker B: Really?
[00:13:26] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:13:28] Speaker C: I do, too.
[00:13:30] Speaker A: Depending on how deep their depression is or whatever they might be going through.
[00:13:35] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:13:36] Speaker A: Cause I ain't gonna lie. When I was in my little season, I feel like I want to cut off the world.
But you still need to be around somebody, but you know what I mean?
[00:13:46] Speaker B: Like, I do feel like that sometimes you do get in your moves. Like, I want to cut these off.
But then when it all balls back around to it, like, them gonna be the same people that you gonna be calling. Like, so it really be like, am I really ghosting them? Like, or am I just need a little bit of time?
[00:14:05] Speaker A: You ghosting, but you trying different things to find out what's gonna help you.
[00:14:09] Speaker C: And if you're gonna go, you're gonna have to stand on business. Like.
Like you said, you. You around them tight. Like, you saying, got down. You ghosting, bro. Like, go some for real. Don't go back. You go back. It's gonna be the same.
[00:14:24] Speaker A: So y' all think when you go, somebody, I mean, ghost People you supposed to stay away from there forever.
[00:14:29] Speaker B: For sure it gave you a reason
[00:14:32] Speaker A: to go some for see I'm thinking like off the grid, like not being around nobody, like just getting where working on you. And then when you get yourself together, you go back around the ones you love and care about.
[00:14:43] Speaker B: I mean. Yeah, but as far as that's what I the way I see friends and family type. Yeah, that's a relationship. As far as a relationship, I feel like if you was to go somebody in a relationship, that just. That's past news.
[00:14:53] Speaker A: Oh, see, I didn't know we was talking about from a relationship circumstance. No, I feel like talking about a relationship you shouldn't. That shouldn't even be on your mind. You shouldn't be in a relationship with nobody who not here helping you grow or like taking care of your mental. Like there's the same. On the same level as you care about your mental as much as you do.
[00:15:12] Speaker B: I agree with you on that.
[00:15:14] Speaker C: That's a fact though.
[00:15:15] Speaker B: Yeah. And another thing too, I feel like when it come to healing too, like you got to, you kind of got to observe.
Like you got to know like what can trigger your partner if you going like if you know you done did something that don't trigger them.
You gotta like keep that in the back of your head.
[00:15:32] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:15:33] Speaker A: You should be paying attention to your partner.
[00:15:35] Speaker B: Yeah. Like, you know, like maybe I done did this today that made him mad type. I probably don't need to do that again, you know.
[00:15:41] Speaker A: But is it really a relationship if you're not paying attention to your partner?
[00:15:45] Speaker B: I mean sometimes people just be in it for the win.
No, I don't think everybody observed their partner. I'm not even about to sit here
[00:15:52] Speaker A: and act like I can agree.
[00:15:54] Speaker B: I don't think everybody observed their partner. Oh no, I don't think everybody takes time to get to know their partner
[00:15:59] Speaker A: for real, outside of sex.
[00:16:00] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. I don't think they. People take the time to get to know their partner.
[00:16:04] Speaker A: I agree 100.
[00:16:06] Speaker C: I don't know if I agree 100 with that now.
[00:16:09] Speaker B: So you think people get to take the time out of the day to get to know their partner?
[00:16:13] Speaker C: I mean everybody different, bro. I can look at it from like
[00:16:16] Speaker A: me type, like
[00:16:20] Speaker C: what you. I mean, you my partner and I'm just not going to like, I serve you like what you here for? Type, you feel me? Like, I only want to be in no like that when I can't learn you type like I need for you to be here. No need for you to be my partner. We both might want to just go our ways, bro.
[00:16:36] Speaker A: I think people.
Not to say it that way, but the only way you could be in a relationship nowadays and not being observed by your partner is if you're a teenager. High school got to be, bro. That what he got to be. Not at this big grown age. Ain't no way you know somebody and
[00:16:53] Speaker C: observing them not doing that, bro.
[00:16:55] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:16:55] Speaker C: You can't be with me.
[00:16:57] Speaker A: Hell, no.
[00:16:59] Speaker B: Okay, so what do y' all think is worse?
Losing the person that you loved or losing the future that you had planned?
[00:17:12] Speaker A: Oh, when you say losing them, what
[00:17:16] Speaker B: you mean, like, as far as, like, your significant other? Like, when it comes to, like, the future y' all had together, like, breaking up or, like, just losing him in general?
[00:17:26] Speaker C: That's a good question, though. That is. It is a good question for me.
[00:17:30] Speaker B: I'm gonna have to say losing a person I thought I love, clearly, because I feel like it is gonna hurt, like, losing the future that I did have planned. But, I mean, you don't know who
[00:17:42] Speaker A: you destined for, right?
[00:17:43] Speaker B: You never know. So I feel like the person that I thought I was literally in love with, like, I already had in my head, bumped the future. We was going through everything together, but what we had planned in the future, like, so it's gonna be like, dog, like, you know, it's kind of like a little one, two for me. I feel like that'll be worser.
[00:18:02] Speaker C: That's real.
That's for real.
[00:18:05] Speaker B: So y' all don't care about the future?
[00:18:07] Speaker C: Nah. Cause I love you. I love you, bro.
[00:18:11] Speaker A: I'm one of those people that live in the now, and I feel like if you lose that person, you don't know how your future go be without them.
So I'm kind of 50.
[00:18:21] Speaker B: 50.
[00:18:22] Speaker C: I mean, if you put it like that, I can say that too.
[00:18:26] Speaker A: But it depends on what you're saying that's losing them. Are we breaking up, or is the person dying?
[00:18:31] Speaker B: No, you just breaking up. Oh, ain't nobody dead out here. Okay. Okay.
[00:18:36] Speaker A: You never know.
Might come back around.
[00:18:40] Speaker B: Kills on gta.
[00:18:41] Speaker A: They hit.
[00:18:44] Speaker B: Okay. Have you ever gone back to something that you prayed to get out of?
[00:18:47] Speaker A: No.
[00:18:48] Speaker C: No.
[00:18:50] Speaker B: Y' all ain't never went. Come on, now. No, y' all ain't never went back to nobody that y' all pray.
[00:18:55] Speaker A: I think when it get to the point where you praying to be out of it, that mean you need to be out of it and leave it alone when they get to that point.
[00:19:00] Speaker C: I never prayed to, like, Be like away from my partner type. Like I never pray for that.
[00:19:07] Speaker A: What? Pray to be out of the situation?
[00:19:09] Speaker C: Yeah. Oh, well, I always ask God like the better if anything. You feel me?
[00:19:14] Speaker A: Yeah. But if it don't get better, then that mean it's time to go.
So if he got you out of you don't need to go bad.
You think you should stay if they showing you reason at the reason of the reason why you should not be there?
[00:19:34] Speaker C: Nah.
[00:19:35] Speaker A: What do you think?
[00:19:39] Speaker B: Oh, no, because like I said, I like to give people grace.
[00:19:42] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:19:43] Speaker B: I like to give people grace to like I'm gonna give you a few chances to mess up.
But it depends on what type of mess up you know they do.
Cause I ain't going for no cheating ass nigga. I can tell you that now. I ain't going for that.
[00:19:58] Speaker A: Okay. So do you feel like you go back out of due to you wanting to really be with them or are you going back due to the fear of being lonely?
I'm not going to lie.
[00:20:09] Speaker B: I do not like being lonely.
[00:20:10] Speaker A: Nobody likes to be alone. I don't like the feeling of being lonely, bro.
[00:20:13] Speaker B: That that's going to make you feel so bad. But I'm not going to lie. I do love hard too.
So I feel like, I don't know, it's definitely probably going to be just off me loving them for sure.
Like yeah angle I feel like, you know, it's at you. You can always get you another like that's that.
[00:20:34] Speaker A: I'm glad you brought that up.
[00:20:36] Speaker B: That's nothing.
[00:20:37] Speaker A: Do you feel like you rush to heal so you can be in the next relationship?
[00:20:46] Speaker B: I do feel like people do, but
[00:20:47] Speaker A: I also feel like there's no way that you could be healed if you run and jump in another relationship.
[00:20:52] Speaker B: This is who what I feel.
I feel like people run to other
[00:20:58] Speaker A: people to build that void of being to help them become healed, they cope from it type.
[00:21:05] Speaker B: I feel like that's people coping. 1 of people coping making mechanisms too,
[00:21:10] Speaker A: like get over one to be up under another one.
[00:21:12] Speaker B: They always say like if you need to get over a go lay with another.
[00:21:19] Speaker A: So, you know, I agree with you on that.
[00:21:21] Speaker B: I feel like people tend to go to the next person faster because it helps them get over the next the last person because you know, now you starting to feel the affection and love and all that all over again. So guess what?
[00:21:36] Speaker A: In the beginning I feel like that it going to be good.
[00:21:39] Speaker B: But when you get to that, you
[00:21:42] Speaker A: going to see that person, she be
[00:21:43] Speaker B: in the beginning for yeah, yeah, the beginning always good. But baby give about two months, right, she gonna start smacking your ass.
[00:21:53] Speaker A: You're gonna see. You don't really want that person running
[00:21:55] Speaker B: around with a chicken. Like a chicken with your head cut off. Ain't eating, ain't sleeping. You don't weigh about 45 pounds now.
[00:22:01] Speaker A: Lashing out on everybody, bro. Like, yo, lashing out on everybody. Cause you ain't happy at home, right?
[00:22:07] Speaker B: And then you don't get out of that house. Your heart is doing your best to do whatever you can like, bro. Like, what's something that you would say that y' all would have y' all had to forgive y' allself from y' all self for in order to heal? Yeah.
Like, not even in relationship standpoint, but, like, just life in general.
[00:22:28] Speaker C: For me, I'm gonna say, like, caring too much, bro. Like Karen just like I would say,
[00:22:36] Speaker A: not setting boundaries for me and not like when it happened that first time.
Just stop it right there. Don't allow yourself to keep going back. Because then it become a revolving door. And that's with friendships. That's with anybody.
[00:22:49] Speaker C: Yeah, that's a fact.
[00:22:51] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm kind of piggyback. Piggyback off you. Because I feel like. See, I feel like for me, I'm a rider.
Like, if I. If I mess with you, bro, I'm down to do whatever, whenever, however, wherever for you. Like, if you really need me, bro, like, I'm not gonna lie, I'm coming.
And I feel like sometimes, you know, like, I really do be expecting myself out of. Out of people like, you know, like, I. I be expecting the same in return. And it's not always that.
[00:23:20] Speaker A: It's never going to.
[00:23:21] Speaker B: You can't never expect in life, bro. Like, you gotta look. You gotta look for. You gotta look for support and shit from strangers, you know. Like, the people closest to you not gonna be the ones that supporting you for real. Like, they not gonna be the ones that's coming to you or that, you know, giving you the views or the clientele. And it's going to be like, people that you don't even know. Like, people that you don't know. Like, so I feel like you really cannot expect yourself out of other people. Like, the people that you cool with.
You really can never say what they wouldn't do, bro. I don't care what nobody say. You can never say what they wouldn't do. And for me, I always been one of them people. Like, oh, yeah, I know this person ain't gonna never do this to me. I know this person ain't gonna never do this. Don't put nothing past nobody. I know this person ain't gonna never do this to me.
[00:24:06] Speaker A: No trust nobody farting.
[00:24:07] Speaker B: But I'm telling you, that will do that to you. Okay? They will.
[00:24:13] Speaker C: They definitely will.
[00:24:13] Speaker B: They will do that to you.
Like, so. I don't know. I feel like that's. Yeah, I feel like boundaries really is something that I had to teach myself, like, as far as, like, you know, like, and then we getting older, so, you know, when you get older, it's like, stuff start to expand or. And, you know, so people starting to drift apart. So it's like you don't even. You gotta kind of like, are we really falling out or are we just growing up?
[00:24:37] Speaker C: Right?
[00:24:38] Speaker B: Like, you know, and I feel like healing with growing up, too. I feel like healing take a toll on you.
Because in your 20s, I ain't gonna lie. They say this, yo, these your good years.
So much get thrown at you, bro. Like, it's like, when you think you over one thing, boom, here comes something else crazy. So it's like, am I really ever gonna be fully healed, or am I just, like, thugging through one situation to get through the next situation?
[00:25:06] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:25:07] Speaker A: And back to being triggered? You don't know that you really healed from that situation, right. Until something that reminds you of that situation trigger you again.
[00:25:16] Speaker B: Yeah, that is true, though.
Okay, so I'm gonna ask y' all a little one, too.
[00:25:27] Speaker C: A little one, too.
[00:25:28] Speaker B: Yeah. So if somebody was to hurt you, say somebody, anybody was to hurt you, who would get access to you again?
Like, for me, I'm gonna have to say, like, I'm not gonna lie. If my mom wants to do something that was to make me real, real upset, I ain't gonna lie. I'm probably.
[00:25:46] Speaker A: It would probably just be my parents or a sibling.
[00:25:50] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:25:51] Speaker C: It'll be my sisters for sure.
[00:25:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:25:54] Speaker B: Cause I ain't gonna lie. You can't let too much lie. That's one thing I learned, too. You can't let too much lie.
[00:25:58] Speaker A: Give an inch, they take a mile.
[00:26:00] Speaker B: Liter, 2 and 3. Like dog.
[00:26:04] Speaker C: Or.
[00:26:08] Speaker A: Can you be. Can the person that hurt you also help you heal?
[00:26:13] Speaker C: Hell, no.
[00:26:14] Speaker B: No. No, Cuz I feel like if you really. I feel like if you really need to be healed, I feel like if you really need to be healed, then you was hurt for real.
But if you. That.
[00:26:25] Speaker C: If you.
[00:26:25] Speaker B: That hurt the way you need to be healed, there's no way you going to tell me that the person that Made you that hurt going to heal you too?
[00:26:31] Speaker A: Hell yeah, cuz. You can't heal in the same environment you was broken in.
[00:26:35] Speaker B: Like, what? Yeah, hell, and you never forget. For real.
So you already know what this person did to you, and you talking about they helping you heal.
[00:26:42] Speaker A: And I just feel like it's not going to work because you always going to be expecting that from that person
[00:26:48] Speaker C: one time. Like, bro. Like, bro, I don't know, bro. Like, I don't know. Hell no.
[00:26:54] Speaker B: And one thing too. I feel like. I ain't gonna lie. Me personally, I feel like once you. Once you let somebody get away with something one time, I ain't gonna lie. I'm gonna do it again, too.
Yeah, I ain't gonna lie.
[00:27:07] Speaker A: They're just like with your parents. They let you get away with something, you gonna keep doing it.
[00:27:11] Speaker B: Literally. You ain't stopped me the first time when I did it. What makes you think I'm not about to do it again?
[00:27:16] Speaker C: Right.
[00:27:16] Speaker B: What makes you think I'm not about to do it again? Like, and then a lot of stuff that's like, with cheating, like, I feel like we don't like us girls. We don't stand on. For real. Like, y' all niggas be out here cheating and, like, talking to green, yellow, red, blue bitch, and we still taking y' all back. We know y' all cheating. Like, I don't think. No, Like, I feel like us as ladies, we need to stand on business. Then these hoes be ugly. They be ugly.
[00:27:44] Speaker C: Like, so you don't think niggas take females back after they cheated?
[00:27:50] Speaker B: Y' all do, but it's very. I feel like it's.
[00:27:51] Speaker A: I feel like it's rare that a woman go ever get called cheating. Yeah.
[00:27:55] Speaker B: And cheat first that day. I feel like cheat first all the time. Majority of the relationships, I feel like cheat first. I don't give a hell. I don't give a freak.
[00:28:03] Speaker C: Nah.
[00:28:04] Speaker B: I feel like cheat first. But, like, y' all so easy, are so easy. Like, bruh, it don't take nothing. It's ain't nothing, bro. You could text a. You can send a heart emoji, no questions asked. He ready to link up.
[00:28:19] Speaker C: Kind of crazy.
[00:28:21] Speaker A: If you that easy, you know, for
[00:28:22] Speaker C: me, you better go ahead and leave him alone.
[00:28:26] Speaker B: It don't take too much, bro. It don't take much for at all.
[00:28:30] Speaker A: Yeah, that is true.
Have you ever wanted to take your ex back just to reject them?
[00:28:39] Speaker C: Hell, no.
No.
[00:28:42] Speaker B: I ain't gonna lie.
[00:28:44] Speaker C: I'm never doing nothing like that.
[00:28:46] Speaker B: I do a little leading on, knowing I ain't gonna do nothing with you. Especially if you done did me bad. I ain't gonna lie.
[00:28:51] Speaker A: I would.
[00:28:52] Speaker B: I would.
[00:28:52] Speaker C: I wouldn't even go back down that road, though.
I promise you. I wouldn't even go back down that road. Boy, we ain't even about to play around no more.
[00:29:00] Speaker B: So you will never talk to none
[00:29:01] Speaker A: of your exes again just to do her wrong?
No, just to let them know that it ain't going away. Like, just let them lead them on and be like, yeah, this ain't gonna work.
[00:29:11] Speaker B: No, I wanna get in a relationship.
[00:29:14] Speaker A: I think you shouldn't do that, for one, because you gonna be thinking you leading them on, they're gonna be leading you on too. And y' all gonna be right back.
[00:29:21] Speaker B: I wouldn't get in a relationship with him for sure. It'll never get that far away. They think we in a relationship or nothing like that. But as far as, like, you know, a little texting here and there, a little phone call every now and then, cool. You ain't coming to see me, I ain't coming to see you. And we ain't in no relationship or nothing. Like, you know that much. So.
I mean, yeah, I feel like, you know, and I ain't gonna lie, I feel like. See me, I don't really.
I don't beef with my exes. Like, I don't talk to them or nothing, but, like, I don't really beef with them. Like, I can honestly say, like, I don't really have no beef with nobody that I really talk to. Well, except for one person. But I don't even got beef. Like, I just, you know, I wouldn't talk to them again type junk.
[00:30:05] Speaker C: But, you know, I don't gotta be putting under my edges either, though.
[00:30:09] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't know. That's a little different for me, I guess.
So we're gonna come to another one. We're gonna come to another little segment.
[00:30:19] Speaker A: Keep it a cutty.
[00:30:20] Speaker B: Keep it a cut.
So I'm gonna call out a scenario and you go tell me what you gonna do. Keep it or cut it. Okay, okay.
Blocking people to move on.
[00:30:35] Speaker C: Keep it.
[00:30:36] Speaker A: Me, too.
[00:30:37] Speaker B: I'm gonna keep it. I'm gonna keep it too.
[00:30:41] Speaker A: I'm following. After a fallout.
[00:30:45] Speaker C: Cut it.
[00:30:49] Speaker A: I feel like cutting it too, because that just childish. I ain't gonna let you know you bother me that much that I go and follow me and stuff now.
[00:30:58] Speaker B: Damn.
[00:30:58] Speaker A: It's just social media.
[00:31:00] Speaker B: Yeah, I' ma cut it too. You got a Point right there. I'm gonna cut it for sure.
Close your conversations.
I'm cutting that. Leave me the alone. I'm cutting that. Yeah, I don't even care. I don't even care.
[00:31:15] Speaker A: I feel like whatever you did that if I left you alone completely, that
[00:31:18] Speaker B: just the closure right there, you did it, bro. You. Whatever reason you did it for, I honestly don't care.
Yeah, like, I don't even care because it don't even matter. My feelings already hurt. It ain't nothing you can do to take it back. I'm done. I'm cutting it. It don't even matter.
The conversation. Because the conversation ain't gonna change the fact that you did it.
[00:31:36] Speaker C: It ain't. No.
[00:31:37] Speaker B: So it really not gonna matter.
Like whatever you say that Jones. Still not gonna matter.
[00:31:42] Speaker A: How about second chances?
[00:31:46] Speaker C: I don't know if second chances work. I.
I don't think second chances work, bro.
Like.
Cause I don't imma keep it.
[00:31:54] Speaker A: Cause I don't care how many times me and my friends fall out. We're gonna give each other chance.
[00:31:59] Speaker B: Friend wise. I'll keep it. I'm not gonna lie. Well, I ain't. No, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. It depends on what my friend did. I' ma keep it, right?
[00:32:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:32:07] Speaker B: But as far as relationship wise, I ain't had too many. Too many accomplished second chance second chances. So I feel like.
[00:32:15] Speaker A: But I'm still gonna keep it.
[00:32:17] Speaker B: Like I feel like. And then at the age I am now, I feel like, you know what you did?
We grown. Whatever you did, bruh, you know what you did, we grown.
How?
[00:32:28] Speaker D: Like, how do I know? How do I know? I ain't in your head.
What I might have done might have been something that in my mind, I don't even think it's something gonna bother you.
[00:32:37] Speaker C: Right?
[00:32:38] Speaker B: But if you did something bad enough to make me want to leave you to know what you did at our big behind age, you can't do too much to make.
[00:32:45] Speaker D: Here's the thing though. Young people can't y' all cuss cut off blocking all of that. That's the way for y' all avoid. To avoid adult conversation.
[00:32:54] Speaker A: I agree.
[00:32:55] Speaker D: No, no, no. What I'm saying is that's a way for y' all to avoid adult conversation. Cause I heard you talk. I heard you talk about ghosting. I heard you talk about blocking. Like all of those things are tools so you don't have to have a difficult conversation. You should be able to tell when I break up, when I break up with somebody. And I stop dealing with them. I let them know why.
[00:33:11] Speaker B: But why? Why do you feel like you should let them know why though?
[00:33:13] Speaker D: So they don't do it again to somebody else.
I'm here for the people. I ain't here for you no more.
[00:33:18] Speaker B: You should never did. I agree because.
[00:33:21] Speaker D: No, because now.
Because I ain't gonna lie to you. Like some grown behind woman I was just dealing with a couple like about four months ago, went on some ghost shit.
Now mind you, the she told me before was like, she, she did it because like I said earlier, she, she was in a bad place, she had some health issues and da da, da, da da. So this time when it happens, that's understandable. So when it happens, my mind instantly goes to. Not that you fucking with some other nigga, not that you ghosting me. It's like, yo, you going through some shit. And since you my people, I need to be there for you.
[00:33:56] Speaker A: Yeah, right.
[00:33:56] Speaker D: So I text you. No call. No, no text back. I text you. No text back. So I text you, hey, look, at this point, I think something up. I'mma stop by your crib. This ain't a pop up. This is a wellness check.
Instant text back. Nah, I'm going to talk to you. Months pass, still ain't talk to me.
You feel me? So that's a way for her to avoid whatever it is she wanted to go do.
You can do the shit, I don't give a fuck. But like, don't have me. Cause a lot of times the person that you're dealing with, like, it ain't even about you. It ain't even about you leaving them. It's about how you left them.
[00:34:30] Speaker A: Right? That's.
[00:34:31] Speaker C: Hey, that's big boy.
[00:34:33] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:34:33] Speaker D: You know what I'm saying? So it's about, damn. They may be worried about you because they actually give a shit. And if you might have. And then I had another person, another person who's younger than me did something similar, but we ended up in the same vicinity. And I'm a roll up on you type of person. Hey, what's up?
I ain't heard from you in a while now.
[00:34:54] Speaker B: You would have blew me too.
[00:34:55] Speaker D: Hey. Yep. Nah. What's up?
[00:34:57] Speaker B: Why you coming up? Why you coming up behind me?
[00:35:00] Speaker A: Okay, okay.
[00:35:01] Speaker D: No, but, but, but you.
[00:35:02] Speaker A: Because then I'm be like, okay, you here. But why you? You obviously you got. Still got a phone. You know this was going on.
[00:35:08] Speaker D: Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
[00:35:09] Speaker A: Why you couldn't respond?
[00:35:10] Speaker D: And then she said, well, you made this Joke.
No, you said something. She got some. And I was like, so that offended you?
It was something about a bonnet. Because I'd be joking. I'm joking about bonnet all the time.
[00:35:22] Speaker B: Basically. You just said you did. You didn't know. Like that.
[00:35:24] Speaker D: Yeah, like I was like. So I was like, yo, I didn't know that was a non negotiable for you. You know what I'm saying? No, but that's the type of y' all I'm using.
[00:35:33] Speaker A: That she did was childish. She could have expressed how she felt.
[00:35:36] Speaker B: But y' all talking about that situation though, like.
[00:35:38] Speaker D: Nah, but I'm saying. But you have ghosted for lesser reasons.
Oh, this dude, give me the ick or whatever the hell. Whatever it is.
For whatever it is.
[00:35:47] Speaker B: Yo, for real, for real, though.
[00:35:48] Speaker D: I'm just.
[00:35:49] Speaker B: How you just gonna tell a that?
[00:35:51] Speaker D: No, you just.
[00:35:51] Speaker B: You just. Oh, you gave me the ick when you did.
[00:35:53] Speaker D: No. Or. Or you just tell them, yo, I'm not interested no more. Because now all the stuff that you trying to avoid, like blocking or. I don't believe in blocking nobody. I don't believe in nothing. See me. See me live my best life.
[00:36:04] Speaker B: I don't care if I don't take you back or if I'm not, you know, responding to your reactions or nothing like that. You should get the drift that I'm not vibing. I'm not.
[00:36:11] Speaker D: Okay, so why don't you just say that the first time so I got. So I don't keep texting you, right?
[00:36:15] Speaker B: Why I gotta tell you that?
[00:36:16] Speaker C: Because. Because.
[00:36:17] Speaker D: Because every time I text you, you go, oh, here go this again.
[00:36:20] Speaker B: Exactly. I'm glad. So if you feel like that. And why are you still texting me?
[00:36:23] Speaker D: Because I might be Genu. I might give a.
[00:36:26] Speaker B: Well, you shouldn't give a about me if I'm treating you like.
[00:36:29] Speaker D: Well, then. Then just say that.
Then just say no. But that's what I'm saying.
The problem. The problem ain't with me. The problem is that you. The problem is with you.
[00:36:39] Speaker B: Some men just don't give up.
[00:36:41] Speaker D: No. Because you don't be straight up. Because women be lying.
[00:36:44] Speaker B: I ain't lying. I ain't even responding. I ain't even texting you.
[00:36:47] Speaker D: Okay? So my thing is. But here's the thing. Now you know, by leaving. By leaving that door open, don't give
[00:36:52] Speaker B: up what you want.
[00:36:53] Speaker D: By ghost. By ghosting somebody.
You leave the door open when you tell a you don't want no more. That door closed because gonna move on if you Tell a dude you don't want him no more if you straight up with him. Any real dude, if you tell him he gonna be out. Can you tell me you don't want me no more?
No, I'm saying real would be like, all right, cool.
[00:37:13] Speaker A: Now you got sons. Oh, you don't want me.
[00:37:15] Speaker B: I'mma kill you.
[00:37:19] Speaker D: But I don't call them real. They. Them dudes can't get nobody else. They, they, they, they with you. And they like, oh, I gotta hold on to her.
[00:37:25] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:37:25] Speaker D: N. They not the ones that believe that. There's other ones. Oh, you don't want me. There's some. I'm. I got this much value that you can get. I'm from the school to get the fuck on.
[00:37:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:37:34] Speaker D: So if you. If you go and tell me you don't want me or you don't want to deal with me or I did something to piss you off, at least be grown about it and we can have a conversation.
[00:37:44] Speaker B: But I ain't gonna lie. I'm taking accountability. I'm a ghoster.
[00:37:47] Speaker D: Yeah, because you can't. Because you can't have difficult conversation.
[00:37:49] Speaker B: I don't.
[00:37:49] Speaker D: I can't.
[00:37:50] Speaker B: I don't like confrontation. I'm keeping a book. I don't like confrontation.
[00:37:52] Speaker D: But why would you do that to somebody, bro?
[00:37:55] Speaker B: I'm literally putting this in your face. Like, I want to talk to you, but you're not texting you back or responding to you. You should get the feeling like, okay, so.
[00:38:03] Speaker D: So that's what. But that's what. Okay, you talked about the crazy dude just now, right? She said, she said, right then I went to do one call each other. What you think gonna happen? You don't ghost me, ghost me. I know where you live. Some of them will roll up to your damn house and knock on your door.
Yeah. Some of them will pull up. They go. They know. They know where you were.
Or don't let them see you in the grocery store.
[00:38:24] Speaker A: The ones that really care, though.
[00:38:26] Speaker C: I'm pulling up.
I'm pulling, pulling up.
[00:38:29] Speaker B: I feel like as a man, though, like, as a.
[00:38:32] Speaker D: How you do what you think someone that.
[00:38:36] Speaker A: If it's somebody that care, like, if it's something petty, like I'm not responding to you, cuz you ain't text me back or you answer my call or something.
[00:38:43] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:38:43] Speaker A: Like, show me that you care. But if he get to a point, like, you stalking me.
[00:38:47] Speaker B: Come on now.
[00:38:47] Speaker D: No, but if, like, if I cheat, if I cheated and you caught me cheating, Cool. And you ghosted me I understand why you did that. But if I think everything cool and I don't know nothing.
[00:38:58] Speaker B: So look, what if we was just like texting, doing the little one two every day and junk and I just all of a sudden stop texting you and then you just keep texting me and keep sliding up on my stuff and then this, that and the third.
[00:39:09] Speaker D: But it depends. How deep, how deep were we in? If it's early on, I don't care.
If it's early on, I don't care. But if we done been doing shit like we done went out, we done went on a trip or two, I get people a month. Nah, I don't care.
[00:39:22] Speaker B: I get people on money. If you, if you don't show me something interesting in a month, you guys
[00:39:27] Speaker D: to go, well, then tell them that.
[00:39:29] Speaker B: No, I ain't got to tell you nothing.
[00:39:30] Speaker A: No, you need to set that boundary at the beginning.
That's the adult version of dating. This ain't fool no more.
[00:39:39] Speaker B: I'm not sitting there as no expectation. Cuz I feel like at our age now, like we should know, like if you wanted to talk to somebody, we need to be going on dates. I should have to tell you that you got to take me on a date.
[00:39:48] Speaker A: No, that's not what I'm saying.
[00:39:49] Speaker D: That's not what she said.
[00:39:50] Speaker B: Why do I have to tell you that? Oh, you have a month to show me something to make me want to stay with you.

[00:40:00] Speaker A: That just like the 90 day rule.
[00:40:02] Speaker D: Yeah, I mean, shorty I'm dealing with now. She told me just the other day. Now mind you, I had surgery, so I've been down for about two weeks. But she was like, hey, look, we ain't gone out yet.
She was like, so we need to chill until we go out.
She set her boundary. She set her expectation.
[00:40:16] Speaker A: No, I said that's the adult boundary.
[00:40:18] Speaker D: I was like, all right, cool. When I get up, when I'm able to really move around and maneuver, we gonna go do something. She's like, all right, I'll wait and see. So she been, she been chilling, she talked, but she don't come by the crib no more. She said, I ain't just gonna keep coming by your house.
[00:40:30] Speaker B: I don't know, I guess I feel
[00:40:31] Speaker A: like that's very mature.
[00:40:32] Speaker B: I'll take it.

Private motherfucker. Like, you come to my house, I come to your house.
[00:40:43] Speaker A: So now that open up a door for both.
Either you want to do what she want to do and actually pursue her or. Or that's the time to let her know. Okay, yeah, I don't want to move forward with this.
[00:40:56] Speaker D: Yeah, but you. But if she never had the conversation
[00:40:59] Speaker A: with me, you wouldn't know. You can't read her mind.
[00:41:01] Speaker D: I wouldn't know I can't read your mind.
[00:41:02] Speaker B: Well, I guess, I guess I'll take it into consideration. Cuz y' all do got a point. So I guess I take it. Oh, girl, whatever. I mean, I guess I. I'mma let somebody know that tonight. Actually I'm say, you know what, you got about three more days left in your month.

Okay, so our last segment before we wrap up, we have a little inspired segments.
Are you gonna let them know?
Let's get into the box.
[00:43:04] Speaker A: You ready for the bop?
[00:43:06] Speaker C: I guess so.
[00:43:08] Speaker B: The bop is basically a jam of the week or a song that you have been listening to this week. First, the BoP of the week comes from poor minds. I don't know if you have ever seen it, but It's Lex and Dre's podcast.
Their girls friends.
[00:43:23] Speaker A: Love them down.
[00:43:23] Speaker B: Yes, love them down. They have been friends for a long time. They started their podcast off, you know, together, and they're doing really, really good now. So that's where we get it from.
But basically, it's a song of the week that, you know, you have been listening to this week that, you know, you have been feeling vibing to. You'll be like, yeah, I gotta turn this on again today. Like. And you gotta tell us, you know, why that being your jam, why that been your bop?
[00:43:47] Speaker C: I' ma say it's unreleased song.
[00:43:49] Speaker B: For real.
[00:43:49] Speaker C: Goddamn.
It'll be right where he stayed too long.
Cause I just feel like I just stayed too long, bro. Like, just being little tight.
You're right. You feel me?
[00:44:02] Speaker B: I should just what you call too long, though? Like, why you feel like you stayed too long, like.
Cause you know, sometimes you never know. Like, I feel like everybody reached that point. So I wouldn't say too long.
[00:44:14] Speaker C: I mean, I wouldn't say, like, too long. Could leave it up to me. I would have still, you know, one thing about me, I'm a fighter. I ain't no, I ain't gonna give up on you, but I'm gonna fight until we got down.
Figure this out. You feel me? So I wouldn't really call this day too long, but it just a song, like, I don't know. I just can't relate to the goddamn song. So I just gotta play that, like, everyday type shit.
All right. That really my shit. For real.
Okay.
[00:44:41] Speaker B: What's your bop of the week?
[00:44:45] Speaker A: My week just getting started, so.
[00:44:48] Speaker B: Well, I mean, you had seven days in a week, sister. So from last Tuesday to today, Mine
[00:44:58] Speaker A: is going to have to be.
[00:45:02] Speaker B: I ain't going to lie.
[00:45:03] Speaker A: I don't got one. I got a different one. I'm in two different moods.
I'm between R and B and gospel right now.
[00:45:14] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:45:15] Speaker A: So I feel like my vocal the week. The gospel will be Tasha.
You know my name. I love that song.
[00:45:26] Speaker B: That song made me cry. Yes, that's baby cry.
[00:45:30] Speaker A: My R and B is going to be. Well, it's not really R and B, but at the same time, yeah, it's going to be don't. By Beyonce. I love that song. It just came out. Well, it's just fully released, but it just get you in that mood.
[00:45:41] Speaker B: How they make you feel feel good.
[00:45:43] Speaker A: Made me think about me and my man.
[00:45:49] Speaker B: For my bop of the week, I'm gonna have to go with Hates Real Lucci I love a Lucci.
[00:45:59] Speaker A: Yeah, you do.
[00:45:59] Speaker B: I can't wait till he have a concert. I'm not missing this one for sure, but I feel like that's my bop of the week. Because you just never know. Like, you never know what people think about you both. You never know.
[00:46:12] Speaker C: Like, no real.
[00:46:13] Speaker B: Yeah, you could be vibing going doing you like thinking sweet and is not sweet. Like, it's nice. You think you cool with this person. You think you and this person then got rid of y' all beef or y' all back on good terms.
[00:46:27] Speaker A: And why you always.
[00:46:29] Speaker B: Secret animosity is so real. I don't care what nobody say. Like, the person sitting next to you can have secret animosity with you and you would not even know it.
[00:46:38] Speaker C: That's kind of crazy.
[00:46:38] Speaker B: You would not know. You could lay in the bed with the person that got secret animosity with you. You will not know it. Like, I don't care what nobody say. Like, and sometimes it just be too late. Sometimes it just be too damn late.
[00:46:50] Speaker C: It do be too damn late. Sometimes.
[00:46:52] Speaker B: Sometimes it just be too late.
[00:46:56] Speaker A: Yeah, I agree.
[00:46:59] Speaker B: So that's our bop of the weeks.
[00:47:02] Speaker A: What's your bop of the week, Yosh?
[00:47:07] Speaker D: I ain't really listening because you've been
[00:47:10] Speaker B: laying in that bed two weeks and you don't listen to no music.
[00:47:12] Speaker D: Man, I've been watching a lot of TV and listening to a lot of UK rap.
[00:47:16] Speaker A: Oh, what's your show of the week, then?

[00:47:51] Speaker B: So let me tell you something.
[00:47:53] Speaker A: It keep you on the edge of your seat.
[00:47:55] Speaker B: Ain't never watched Scandal before, but I did just start watching the Oval.
The Oval is basically kind of like Scandal.
That joke is so good.

[00:48:08] Speaker A: Keep you on the edge of your seat, bro. It's so good.
[00:48:10] Speaker B: Yeah, I love those. And you know, I can't forget about baddies. I love me. I don't miss baddies throughout the week.
[00:48:15] Speaker A: I a watch that this week. Catch up on that later.
[00:48:20] Speaker B: So, Yosh, come on through with your TV show.
[00:48:24] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm trying to find. I don't not know. Like I said, I don't watch so much that it's just. Oh, the lioness.
[00:48:31] Speaker B: Oh, yes.
[00:48:32] Speaker A: I want to start watching it. They say it's really good.
[00:48:34] Speaker B: What's that about?
[00:48:36] Speaker D: It's about this. This secret agent, and she run a whole crew, and they, like, be going and, like, getting Osama bin Laden and all kind of people in this season, the first two seasons, like, it's just a bunch of action.
It's. It's. I'm trying to see who's. Who's. What's the lady in it?
Y' all don't know her name?
[00:48:57] Speaker B: I don't know no actors.

[00:49:14] Speaker B: Who is that?
[00:49:16] Speaker D: Oh, Zoe. Zoe Saldana.
[00:49:19] Speaker A: No, I don't know her, but she's
[00:49:20] Speaker D: the one that did Colombiana.

[00:49:29] Speaker D: Yeah, but the one.
[00:49:30] Speaker C: She.
[00:49:31] Speaker A: That one. Yeah.
[00:49:32] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:49:33] Speaker D: So that's. That's my. That's my go to Lus.
[00:49:36] Speaker B: Okay, so I'mma end off with saying healing doesn't always look like growth while you're going through it. Sometimes it's ugly. Sometimes you go backwards. Sometimes you miss what hurt you. But that doesn't mean that you're not making progress.
[00:49:51] Speaker C: That's a fact.
[00:49:52] Speaker A: That's true.
[00:49:53] Speaker C: Big fact.
[00:49:54] Speaker A: So our affirmation for the week is, may you trust your voice, stand on your truth, and never shrink to make anyone else comfortable.
[00:50:07] Speaker B: So that's it for us guys.
Until next time, this is the Girl Don't Whisper podcast.
[00:50:15] Speaker A: Bye.
